The biggest seller for me after the quality and the ability to have it custom fitted is the fact that almost every dress and skirt has pockets. Wonderful, awesome, well hidden pockets.
Don’t worry, ALL clothes in 1977 were made of goddamn polyester, even skinny clothes! Huge polyester heyday in the seventies. Everything from blazers to jumpsuits to coats to slacks, Polyester Double Knit Inferno, burn baby burn.

That is true. For things you would wear to work, it might be worth saving up and buying a higher-quality piece that you can create different outfits with- a standard black or navy dress, for example. Staples are worth the extra money, imo, because you will get a lot of use out of them and you know they’ll last.
Go to Eshakti.com and you can get all sorts of cute cotton dresses and get them done with your custom measurements and the prices are very good and they always have sales. Ice been super happy with all 6 of my dresses from them!
