Completely agree. Ever since I started sewing, I’ve been horrified at how low people expect prices to be.

It is hard to find well fitting clothes of all sizes.

If you work in an office with that formal a dress code, can’t you afford $100 for an outfit? A high-quality dress will last a long time. Just get a classic style instead of something trendy, and it’s money well spent.

The hitch is that underprivileged workers are underpaid and exploited, landfills take all the waste, and lots of resources (including lots of agri-chemicals) are used for a one-season item. It’s not a very ethical system.
