True, but the same argument can be about Switzerland and many other games. That is nature of the game and while it sucked for Sweden, it wasn’t the reason they played as defensively and gave so much space for Germany in the second half.

Boateng’s red was a blessing in disguise because it forced some variety into their attack. Boateng was leading every charge into the Swedish half which is...not ideal.

Boateng is and idiot for getting sent off like that.  Obviously was bailed out by Kroos but that was just such a dumb second yellow to get there.

Crazy how inevitable a result like this looked as soon as the second half started. Even after the send-off, Sweden played scared.

I will be honest, when Boateng got that red card, I just lost faith that Germany would win this game. I was already mentally explaining to myself that at least Germany’s youth team is really good and they should be able to bounce back for the Euro 2020. Then that Kroos moment happened and I remembered why I love this…

As a wise man once said “Football is a simple game. Twenty-two* men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win.”

Next up for Germany: Austria, Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and France, though not necessarily in that order.

Was in Santa Ana today for the OC pride parade, and the streets were rocking with green jerseys and Mexican flags. It was awesome.

So a guy who gets accused of rape and sexual assault multiple times and hangs out with other rapists doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt? I mean clearly this guy just happens to be in the wrong place, at the wrong time, with the wrong people a lot. It could happen to anyone!  

You know, Based upon the evidence, I’m starting to think this guy might just be an asshole.
