Yes. New Mutants seems to be in serious trouble. This screams to me as Fox punting the movie long enough for the Disney deal to go through and then they can decide what to do.

Anyone that has Mulan progressing any round is racist and deserves to die (these two statements are unrelated)

Most of the things you are pointing to suggest a huge opening weekend, not sustained performance IMO. Also, once word gets out this one ends on a cliffhanger and it is next year’s Avengers that is the culmination of all these movies, I think we will see it decline rapidly. I am thinking a bigger version of Harry

Eh, we are too deep in a flame war to become friends now. My statements were obviously a projection like your’s were. The reason why I assume(d) you were a fanboy is because there is no data to suggest it will become the third highest grossing movie ever. If there is, please let me know.

So, the difference between you and me is that I like looking at box office receipts and objectively predicting future movie’s returns. If I am wrong (which absolutely is possible) it will be due to the fact that I misread environmental factors and I will then try to learn from my mistakes. If you are wrong you will

You are way too self-serious (and obviously a fan boy).

BvS, JL, and AoU all had lower than expected receipts. If IW has overwhelmingly positive reviews it will likely beat AoU. If the reviews are around that level (which I expect) then there is no reason to believe IW will greatly out perform AoU.

You all are insane fan boys. BP has been able to succeed in part because it is unique and in part because there has been no real competition around it (same reason Deadpool did so well). It has been number 1 in the box office for 6 weeks. IW will be the number 1 movie 3 weeks in a row and then its receipts will go off

AoU, Winter Soldier, Civil War, and Infinity War (looks) dour AF. Just because some of them are good doesn’t mean they aren’t.

I would be surprised if IW gets close to BP. People seem to be (thankfully) tired of these dour super hero team movies.

Actually it still stands at $618 million domestically. It will surpass Avengers after today’s or tomorrow’s receipts are counted.

Nah, it was like all of Bill’s current output. *SLURP*

My (Jason’s) point was the former. The latter is irrelevant.

Jason talked about this on Kinda Funny Games Daily. Gawker was a good company and then Gawker didn’t exist anymore. It was their union that stood up to Univision.

Never use Elon Musk as a positive example. It immediately reveals you to be an asshole.

None of that is how things work.

Game development of triple A games takes between 2 to 4 years. In September it will have been 4 years since the release of Smash 4. Yet Nintendo fans think that isn’t enough time for a new game.

Dwight largely fulfilled his potential. At this point he can’t do this night in and night out because of his bad back and shoulder. Also, to answer your question: Baron Davis.

Sixer fans are so sensitive.
