@roninpenguin: I guess that's what I was asking in terms of the truly open nature of Linux. But after reading everyone elses response I'm starting to realize it's tantamount to giving a monkey a loaded gun if you give average people root access. So to all who replied I thank you.

If android is so open I don't see why they don't just give you root level access to begin with? Maybe I'm seeing this totally wrong here but it's open, why not let it truly be open?

Ohhh the funny racial jokes an insult comic could come up with involving these stats. Just think of comedy central's roast of flava flav!

@paulrules: You're pribably just bi-polar.

Man! This poor, unfortunate woman is very unattractive.

I'd actually consider ditching my iPad (which I love and use often) for a well designed android tablet with 1080 p high def screen that's about 10 inches, also USB ports would be great and also some cool productivity tools and support. The motorola tablets rumors on vzw are intriguing me.

@davepermen: Yes because puttinng in a real effort to keep in touch with people that Matter in your life is impossible without face book. Unbelievable!

@Zach W. R. Mollett: U kidding me? Have you forgot what it is to be human and actually talk to people in conversation?

@davepermen: I gained privacy and much more anonymity. Also I actually call my friends and family more and text them and actually connect with them in a real human way lol. I don't expect most people to understand that anymore, but alas it actually feels nice being anti-social networking

@BjaminNYC: No, moved about 90 miles away to be honest lol but I felt it unnecessary and just like to be less connected

No way! It looks like a MacBook pro was born pre-maturely.

My idea is best! Just delete it!!!

Hey! What happened to the "Cougar" part of his name???

Oh man! Crap on the English language but don't dare cross the line by mis-spelling "beeber", No!!

@pjcard: I guess I'm just a toys r us kid after all.

@travisco_nabisco: I never claimed the world was a perfect place, sir. There are harsh realities that go along with it. I for one think it's such a waste to send computers to a countries like these to only have many of them destroyed. Sure bad things have happened in the past and in modern day but I believe it's silly

@beentold: I didn't drain them... I don't think you did either nor did we help instate any dictators. If anything I think it's more of a responsibility belonging to the Europeans more so than the Americans in many cases but that's just my 2 cents.
