Where’d all this Dutch prequel info come from? I didn’t recognize any faces or names from the trailer... Is “Arthur Morgan” Dutch’s real name or something?

That headline scared me; I thought I was gonna have to go try this impossible thing for myself.
I loved this bit of the latest Idle Thumbs. Thanks for sharing it with the world!
Correct me if I’m wrong, but wouldn’t any game released in 2016 be at a mathematical disadvantage? A game that came out on January 2nd, 2016 has one less day of potential playtime than any game released earlier.
The only disappointment I see there is Uncharted 4 as “Best Narrative.” Compared to pretty much any of the other nominees, it’s a huge retread. I feel like “Narrative” in Uncharted equates to “Art Direction,” but I was glad to see Inside win that one.
That conference room where they’re assembling it looks exactly like most of the sets in Shin Godzilla...
The other night, I was playing in the desert Operation and I found myself and my teammates actually lining up behind sandbags to take out the enemies rushing over a hill. I was surprised, since most games seem to reward guerilla tactics and surprise more than anything, but somehow the map design and mechanics aligned…
Y’know, I’ve always been a Boba Fett fan, but this trend is nearly identical to the trajectories of General Grievous and Captain Phasma - design super cool characters that have some interesting EU stuff, then never make them legitimately interesting on-screen.

Similar postings reveal other classic Lucasarts games will also be coming to GoG, such as Fate of Atlantis, KOTOR and Sam & Max (though of course they're exciting, since they've long been available on…
How exactly does one, uh, GET the Simpsons World app? I'm fumbling around the 360 dashboard trying to find it.
Your second encounter with hostile humans is really annoying. You have to get a decoder device to open doors, but when you enter the room you have to cross, there's this woman with a gun who sees you and starts shooting. It can be tricky to get past this section—I found it worked to let her spot me, then backtrack…

Hell, I'll sign on for that Gears run
You mentioned Gears 3 in this piece. I've always suspected that it was under- appreciated or overlooked, but I haven't spent much time thinking about it. I think that'd make a rad piece.
I think some credit ought to be given to the wide open space sections at the beginning of Dead Space 3. While the spaceship interiors were dull, those soundless exterior sections built on the zero-gravity and oxygen features that had served as nice changes of pace during 1 and 2.
