Giant nitpick. They do that cheat they often do in these space exploration shows where people video chat with family back home without any delay, despite them being millions of miles away, which, fine, okay maybe in the show’s universe they have some special technology using quantum entanglement that allows

Ben is only 35 here. People used to age different.

“Forces of evil in a bozo nightmare” perfectly sums up the last six years.

He’d have to keep the facial hair. My wife didn’t find him attractive at all until he got that beard in Lion. The whole concept of a super spy is absurd so yeah, the ability to blend in would be more realistic, but Bond has never been about realism.

Just give the franchise to Chris Nolan and let him retool it from the ground up. The opening of Dark Knight Rises was basically an audition piece, as well as much of Inception and Tenet.

Tarantino cast Warren Beatty as Bill in Kill Bill, and during rehearsals, kept telling him to act like David Carradine. He got fed up and quit, telling him to just get David Carradine. When casting A Few Good Men, Reiner kept asking for someone like Wolf, the young assistant who worked in their office, to play a Marine

I think the only thing that could work is if they did give him the Lars last name, but Luke on his own discovers his real last name somehow and insists on using it.

I hope at some point they clarify why Luke starts openly using the Skywalker last name if they want him to remain hidden.

Lol. I edited my comment but something went screwy. Just aired my suspicion that the a-hole director was David O’Russell.

I know someone who had a similar incident with Paul Haggis, although they managed to escape before it escalated as far, so this totally tracks.

In retrospect I imagine it’s more disturbing to have been perved on by Louis CK.

I always thought Michael Zegen, Joel in Mrs. Maisel, reminded me of a young Al Pacino. But I could see Oscar Isaac getting this part. Whoever gets it should start the movie with a high pitched, nasal accent that suddenly breaks into a gravelly, southern tinged baritone at the end.

Probably best to just target the middle. The hard core bigots / racists / homophobes are a minority. It’s that mushy center of people who go along with the prevailing societal attitudes that are more likely to change. I am a child of the 80's, and saying ‘fag’ or calling things ‘gay’ were our go to insults at the

What’s his excuse for the other 28 years?

Set in 2019, so the last scene will be Jon Hamm coughing from some mysterious illness that’s going around.

I think Ryan’s dad could have been following Barry this whole time, but didn’t have the guts to move in on him until following him into the alley.

Feel pretty much the same. Thought it was 2/3 of a solid, fun movie, and 1/3 some pretty amazing flight sequences at the end. Could have used less Tom Cruise and more time spent on the other characters.

This is the best season since 1. The choice to focus on the effects of trauma on these characters lives, after all they’ve been through, and the way the villain exploits that is a stroke of brilliance. And that Kate Bush moment is maybe the best piece of filmmaking the brothers have ever done.

Its original purpose is being freighter, so it was just for shuttling cargo around and didn’t need amazing visibility. Later it got repurposed and retro-fitted with guns and stuff.
