I can relate. On way to work today my shoe became untied. I faced the uncertain fear of stopping to tie it and risk being run over or push on. I decided to press on in constant fear of possibly tripping. Barely made it.

The man is a gem. Co-worker’s wife is a nurse at a children’s hospital here in Chicago. Not sure if he still does but when he was playing he would often show up with absolutely no reporters or fanfare with a ton of gifts for all the kids. Took pictures, spent time with the kids, signed autographs, etc. Great guy.

They don’t. As I recall hearing it back when I was playing simply too many players were calling ‘let’ a lot of the times where they got aced. That was word of mouth and a quite few years back so not sure if they now have the technical gadgets or judges in place at these matches as they do in the pros but it doesn’t…
