The gamer in me says "Man, this is the upgrade I've been waiting for, I should get this!"

Persona 3 Portable is indeed kind of stripped down. You navigate maps with a cursor (although dungeons are still navigated like the PS2 version), there's a lot less voice acting, less cutscenes... Although, gameplay-wise, it's probably the best version, since you can control your party members in battle, and it just

Ah well, I was around the medium settings, I'll just lower everything to the bottom, I guess :)

I hope the specs are the same as the first Torchlight. It ran really well on my shitty laptop!

This is the first game I'm getting with my 3DS XL next month! Mario Kart 7 looks cool too, but I think Rhythm Thief is one of those games that's gonna be hard to find after a few months, whereas MK7 is definitely an evergreen title.

Well, I pledged 119$ (added a 20$ for shipping outside Canada).

"Ports tended to be very difficult to message," he said. "Consumers go, 'I've got it on console. Why do I need it on this and spend $40 on this and spend $40 for exactly what I have on console? That doesn't make any sense.' I think that's a very relevant position."

Mother (Earthbound) Collection on the 3DS. All three games in the series, kept intact, except for menus/maps on the bottom screen, and maybe a bit of difficulty tweaking for Mother 1.

It's weird, I thought that game did well enough for itself until those articles showed up a few days ago... It's a shame, because it's pretty great. Well worth the $40 I spent on it!

I like it so far, but I think I'm playing it wrong... This game is completionist hell, there's just SO MANY SIDEQUESTS! And I kind of feel obligated to do all of them, but it just breaks the story's flow. I'm sure there's a strong sense of urgency to the story, but it's hard to really feel it when I'm mostly running

KATAMARI DAMACY! Seriously, I love that game to bits. It's something I can play for five minutes or for hours, it doesn't matter, it's always fun.

You might try SRtest, but be aware that I've been able to run games that failed SRtest on my computer at acceptable framerates. So, take the results with a grain of salt, but it's a mostly reliable way to know if you can run a certain game.

I'm going to echo RiverCityGamer and suggest Get Color. Their self-titled album is good too, but it's waaaay noisier and less song-oriented.

Glad to hear it's a good game, because I would have bought it anyway just for the music. One of my favorite bands, HEALTH, had a big part in that soundtrack, and I just know they'll be a perfect fit for the game. It's pretty minimalistic music, but it manages to still be incredibly tense.

Part of the soundtrack, including the trailer's music, was done by HEALTH, one of my favorite bands. You should really check them out!

Hm, maybe I'd have to rewatch inFamous' ending. I remember it being some kind of short slideshow with Cole voicing over it, it seemed really put together at the last minute after they'd spent all the budget on the last boss...

I don't really care what happens to the hero, as long as we get some closure.

I think you mean successor, not predecessor.

Yeah, the latest Dross Glop release was quite sought after by a lot of people I was waiting in line with. I'm not really familiar with Battles, maybe I should give them a try!

Most games centered around competitive multiplayer, I don't really get the appeal... Local competitive MP such as Mario Party is fine, because it's a good way to have fun with friends, but I think online competitive multiplayer is generally a waste of time, since you're not experiencing any new content, you're mostly
