@Ueziel: Red Steel 2 gets my vote! Although I'd love to hear your opinion on Muramasa, I keep seeing it for 35 bucks at EBgames, I think I walked it to the counter like five times before changing my mind and getting something else. Augh!

@Tenamor: I haven't played it that much, but from what I gathered, you're better off to start with sword + shield for the beginner quests. After that, there's no better weapon. It all depends on what type of quest you're doing, what kind of monster you're hunting.
