Guild Wars 2 seems like the kind of game I'd get a new PC for. I recently started a new character in the first one, and it's probably my favorite online RPG of all time.

Hey, NightSky (formerly known as "Night Game" comes out tomorrow for the PC. I thought that was vaporware for sure!

Microplay, most of the time, because it's closest to my house. When I want to pre-order a big game, I do it at EBgames. If it's something a little more niche, like Etrian Odyssey, I know the bastards won't have it on launch so I pre-order on Amazon.ca.

@BleedingThumbsMurphy: A lot of gaming sites (including Kotaku) were blocked when I was working this summer too... I found a workaround though, just type it on Google, but instead of clicking on the link, click on "Translate this page". Then click "original" in the upper-right corner.

Yesterday I started a new character in Guild Wars, since I finally understood that my Necromancer/Ranger build simply wasn't going anywhere. Played for 8 hours (with a break, of course). I just got out of pre-searing Ascalon, after completing all of the quests and doing a bit of hunting, being level 8.

@Bouzi: Go Habs Go!: Oh Sony are such cockteases with their avatars, they've been releasing Megaman Legends 2 avatars for like four weeks in a row, without any hint of an announcement for either of the MML games on the PSN... Don't get your hopes up :(

@Amazing_Spiderham: I think HDMI cables are bullshit because a $10 cable will be as good as a $300 cable. But they definitely give a clearer picture than a composite cable.

LittleBigPlanet can be completed in about as much time, but you'd be doing yourself a great disservice just playing through the campaign.
