I respectfully disagree. I lived in Florida for 16 years. ATMs have no rights there.

Iowa irony: my husband’s grandfather came over to Iowa from Bohemia when he was a kid, and eventually learned English well enough to hide his accent. The whole family became very “speak English!” (especially where that “dirty Spanish” was concerned). Toward the end of his life, Gramps developed Alzheimer’s and…
Let’s start with the guy deep enough in his feelings to whine about a tweet from a high school girl.
It’s like saying “we need to examine this puddle more closely to see how deep it is”
Just imagine how these two idiots will react when they find out that people of African descent play basketball, too.
Native #1: The first three names we gotta remember are Joe Smith, George Johnson, and Thomas Williams for Plymouth. They have a lot of ... um, apparently...
That guy in black could’ve used some over armor.
“We’ve got beers over here!” would probably be more effective.
“We’ve got kids over here!”
Seriously, right? I was wondering if this was some ill-conceived viral advertising campaign for Under Armour. Who knows, maybe somebody’s gonna think, “Dang, that hoodie on the guy with his face split open looks fly.”
Goddamn. White people looooooooove Under Armour.
The original novel consists of ‘books’ 1-3, pretty sure the plan is to adapt it into a trilogy of movies. A lot has changed in franchise filmmaking since the Lynch adaptation, and everyone knows one of the biggest problems was trying to squeeze it all into one movie.
I feel like you can’t really make a good Dune adaptation in the runtime expected of a film. If Lynch had somehow gotten to make whatever a Game Of Thrones-type prestige blockbuster series would have looked like in 1984, and all his creative decisions and approach to adapting the source material remained intact, just…
Well, that finally confirms it: we’re living in the future.
I’d be super excited. Lynch understands something that a lot of filmmakers don’t; in the future everyone is dressed like an asshole.
I really didn’t care for the SciFi channel series. Just off the bat, I hated that they made the Atreides family blonde, because they are the good guys, including Jessica, as if their hair color wasn’t actually integral to their characterization. The Atreides are descended from the Greeks, with black hair, and Jessika…
oh this is superior professional psy-ops level trolling here. reminds me of the save-the-library campaign that fronted as a ‘book burning’ party to celebrate the closing of their local library.
He will probably crow about his health care plan’s success in his next speech at a disaster site.
RonMonSanto’s answer is missing one additional point. At the time the ACA was put into place, Republicans (Trump’s political party) began referring to it as Obamacare in a derogatory way (yes there’s sadly racial undertones there). When people were polled about the healthcare plan they’d respond negatively to…
You don’t understand how insurance works do you? You can’t get insurance to the older people without reducing the overall risk by also including younger/healthier people. It all works in the sense that down the road those younger people are old and need the insurance more, but the new crop of younger people are there…
