As a person who was a teenager in the 90's, I fell for this too. The correct answer is nothing. They are just a different kind of jock.

Pre-pregnancy I used to get golden tan from being out in the sun. Post-pregnancy, I get a sunburn from sitting next to a window. I must slather on SPF 70 and wear a sunhat roughly the diameter of the moon to avoid burning if I appear outside.

This isn’t petty...it’s just sad. 

The issue is women’s pain not being taken seriously by the medical world. That is fucked up. Women should be able to get the healthcare they need (IUDs, biopsies, colposcopies, etc...) without being tortured because of outdated information regarding nerves in our cervixes. 

Worth keeping in mind that the family evolved as a survival strategy.

Well those female governors have all been Democrats and generally in the US, widespread misogyny throughout the south and beyond has had a very limiting effect on women in executive positions.
