One of the largest reasons for this, I think, is that it has a “thou doth profess your love too much” quality. Usually, when I see gushy posts like that on social media, I assume the relationship is in trouble.

Is there something inherently nauseating about describing one’s own love?

Was your poetry any better than your classmates’?

Shit, to be even more real, I’d probably do it for $1 million, after taxes. How long do you think it would even last? Just close your eyes and pretend it’s — anyone else. *Shrug*

I mean — if someone offered me a cool $5 million, I’d do it. I would. Let’s be real.

Aw, this is pretty cute, a lil’ crush.

It’s easy to turn someone into an orange-hued cartoon — a bit more challenging to contemplate the human shit that lies underneath. I think a lot of contemptible people are actually to be pitied.

Yeah, you could be right. He just hates SO MUCH to be a “loser” that I wonder if he’ll be able to resist saying, “Nahhh, dudes, I never wanted this, anyhow. Was just fuggin’ around.” And to me, it seems so obvious he doesn’t want it and is just fucking around.

This is what he’ll say when all of this is over, too. He’ll turn around and claim/admit that the whole election was a con and the media were suckers who gave him tons of free publicity, and that, even though he has lost, he has really won, won, won!!

Now playing

That’s been obvious from the start. He’s never wanted to be president, and he looooves Hillary.

That quote was actually a fake BUT I do believe Donald is full of shit. He was very vocally pro-life for years. I’m sure he still is. Maybe he’s even paid for an abortion or three himself.

The “holding periods” guy was, I’m pretty sure, a troll, probably even one who was pointing out the stupidity of a lot of guys who don’t want to deal with the realities of female anatomy and bodily functions.

Yeah, the lyrics are impressive (and I appreciate the fictionalized history), but a lot of the actual music to me sounds like, dare I say, the stuff of any other Broadway musical, aside from the hip-hop/rap additions.

You can’t compare the relative success of In the Heights to the absolutely frenzied phenomenon that is Hamilton. It will be amazing if he can live up to it with a third effort. Even he has acknowledged this.

In all honesty — from what I’ve heard so far, the only Hamilton song that I think is truly great is Yorktown (The World Turned Upside Down). Catchy as hell, and a beautiful chorus.

Don’t worry, none of these mentally challenged wingnuts are getting past the Secret Service.

Yeah, I’d check out the movie. Then I could turn it off if I wanted to, or pause for long periods of time.

Yep, exactly. He could have quit while he was ahead and actually helped boost his image a little. Being funny is always endearing.

Yep. The best way to remain a perfect success is to drop dead at a young age. ;)

Not sure how much heavy “studying” ol’ Dubya did as an undegrad at Yale. “History.” Whatevs.
