I’m mad at SyFy because it “locks” all their shows now, even for paid Hulu subscribers. Now available only if you have a cable ID to log in with. I could not watch Defiance last season, nor Dark Matter, and only the pilots of Killjoys and The Expanse were available.

I am so sorry about this. Still have to see S.3 sometime .. perhaps SyFy’s decision to lock Defiance out of paid Hulu has something to do with failing views (viewers can’t catch up.) SyFy also locked Dominion out (both shows were available on paid Hulu last year.)

I don’t want any kind of ending for a few more seasons. It worries me that we’re talking ending at all (hoping CBS would change its mind and keep it going.)

Is there anything we can do to keep it on air for further seasons? What about a Columbo model, with yearly movies? I just don’t want to accept that these brilliant writers and cast can’t give us an ongoing story for years to come.

Even flying weaponized drones is legal, which makes no sense at all.

Cable wasn’t even available in my remote hillside location. But right now, without cable, I cannot watch Defiance, Killjoys, Dark Matter .. or Graceland. SyFy and USAchannel have both decided to cut off cable cutters. They taunt us paid subscribers on Hulu with “locked” previews, very unnerving.

Tilly, one of the several horses playing Argo, is still alive, she could make a cameo appearance! Hopefully they’ll still ride real horses in a remake and not go all digital!

But in 2013, Los Angeles County hit a dubious milestone: it’s the first US county to have reached 10 million people. While the population growth rate has slowed in California, it’s frightening…

A great idea, filing under good news. I would consider using for camping or power outages. Having no batteries to manufacture and recycle helps make this light “green” and that’s a plus.

Reading this without further research, I’m puzzled by the short time allowed for this competition. Serious contestants might come up with concepts, but for full-blown 3-D printing using off-Earth raw materials, 4 months is not enough — what am I missing?
