It’s fun enough for a new show.

I don’t feel as interested in the Library as the show wants me to be right now. Maybe it’s because we haven’t seen many shades of gray. I would like to spend more time inside the library and with its people.

Seriously, The Magicians is one of the most creative shows on tv right now.

It’s so bizarre that “tryhard” is a bad thing to some people. “Trying too hard” is usually a way to put someone down for having enthusiasm or wanting something, which are.. completely valid human feelings.

“Social media has a nasty habit of raging against things it barely understands,”

I can’t look at him and see anything remotely handsome or charming and part of that is how much I know about him but also, how much we know about modern serial killers. If a guy who looks like that approaches you and says he needs help with his suitcase or groceries.. you fucking run in the other direction.

When this show came on, I ignored it and figured it wasn’t for me. Then, bored one day, I put it on and liked it. Also, I discovered June Diane Raphael through this show, and she’s great.

Agreed. Plus, their kids urging them into a retirement home where they would have to give up their business? Especially shitty. (Though, same topic, why wouldn’t literally any of them have read the fine print about moving into this place? Bud is a lawyer!)

As a migraine sufferer, this article terrified me. I have no idea how I would tell the difference between a stroke and a regular migraine.

Ooh, creepy! I didn’t even consider that.

This sounds delicious. I’m going to try throwing some of the garlic in to roast with the veggies.

Thanks for the recs! I’m excited to check out Rule of Three, Punch Up the Jam and Euphomet. One of my personal favorites from this year is “Karaoke with Michelle Obama” from 2 Dope Queens.

I could have done without the Xavin storyline. Agree that we didn’t have time to explore it, so we got some weird scenes that didn’t tie to anything. And honestly, are we supposed to be on the fence about the creepiness of Xavin? Because I feel like Xavin is insane.

I feel like we finished his arc. I’m not sure where else they would take his character -- as head of the church, he could have aligned with the aliens and been a villain, but it seems like his role there is over.

Totally beside the point but I’ve never heard this! I have heard “u-wee”, similar but not exact. Where does the b come from?

I think it was better than the 1st season but still had some low points.

Or by “readers”, they meant “producers.” If the studios think scripts are that unimportant, then sure, interns. And that’s probably reality! But it doesn’t have to be and it almost certainly won’t lead to the best products.

Chase is definitely the Archie of Runaways

How is this different from what she normally wears?

I feel like there might be something more to it. Sure, maybe he really did have a moment of clarity, but also, maybe, alien something or other?
