David Bowie, though I realize that's kind of cheating.

It would be one thing if the choreography was really interesting, since that's most of the point… but it's frankly pretty boring. Similarly not impressed.
I don't believe in "the one" and I am married to a guy I started dating as a sophomore in high school. It's worked out great, but I don't think he or anyone else is my only shot at happiness.
I have kept meaning to see Book of Mormon, but used your comment as an impetus to finally go buy tickets to see it August 6, since it's in town. So thanks!
Yeah, I find this much more sane than the Emmy noms, at least. RPDR is at it's rightful place atop the reality show heap, whereas it somehow wasn't even nominated for an Emmy.
To be fair, I think they all do. I mean, I like Bond movies but repeated viewings don't do them many favors.
I think so, but couldn't get much into Tudors. I'd say that The Borgias is decently but not stunningly done across the board, with the exception of the production design, which is utterly fantastic… particularly the amazing costuming.
Learning stuff! I didn't know it was an Eames design. Thanks! I'm glad to know the Mad Men team knows this stuff way better than I do.
I'm not convinced those airport seats are right. Did they really have these in the 60s? Because I'm pretty sure they're the exact ones I saw last weekend.
The community college question totally depends on what you're looking to study. I had a really good experience at Lake Washington Tech, but that's in Kirkland, and getting there from Capitol Hill was a bit of a drag.
Pulp! My sister happened to leave her copies of This is Hardcore and Different Class behind when she went back to college in the fall. The first music I actively sought out was to get more Pulp via buying Acrylic Afternoons. Pulp remains my favorite, and at this point will likely be so forever.
Bravo!
… and saved for commie nomination.
This photoshop job is a thing of beauty.
Then in 40 years we can return to the island and see if they are unconvinced the production ever ended.
ooh, and now "A gay singer, a cross dressing mob boss and a tough guy in 1970s Rome cope with homosexuality, betrayal and memory."
"Suspense, communism and filmmaking mix in 1910s Vietnam for a gay teenage girl and a Catholic baby."
Sounds like an intriguing joke setup: A Muslim pope, a Hindu reporter, and a Japanese dwarf walk into a bar…
I'm getting real tired of seeing the name "Diablo Cody" without seeing "Sweet Valley High" in the same sentence.
Cannot really handle the stress of 0 comments, but… excellent last line there!
Yay! A friend wrote that story.
