I genuinely do not understand the appeal of these fucking things.

They’re all like that. Stephen Miller, who is my age, looks older than my dad. Huckabee Sanders is only 35, I think (though her makeup artist is doing her no favors with that smokey eye for daytime look). Even Hope Hicks, who is objectively pretty, is looking older than 29 these days.

Sometimes I think I died that one night in the bayou country of Alabama; the last few years have been one of those pineal gland DMT death trips.

I’m pretty sure the family can pay for the casket with the money this guy made from me.

He will be laying in state, in a sales bin right between piles of Journey’s Greatest Hits and copies of the last 5 Dave Matthews Band CDs

What I’m really looking forward to is that guy who posts every week to reiterate how much he hates the fact that every week, the A.V. Club posts a recap of Last Week Tonight’s central segment. While, yes, simply recapping something that was on TV as “news” is kind of lame, I fully appreciate the A.V. Club reminding me

You’re definitely coming off like a major snob, despite protestations otherwise.

I too like tearing down beautiful, successful, famous women who will never have sex with me.

They should postpone this movie until it’s been, say, six months since the last U.S. gun massacre, thus assuring that it would never, ever be released.

Jesus, you’re tiresome

Don’t forget Blink 182's Tom Delonge taking time off to educate himself and the world about aerospace and astronomy.

Watched this with girlfriends parents and her brother and his wife. All of them NRA, trumptards, except my GF. They kept yelling trumpublican and nra talking points every time a kid would speak. Was brutal. All were in agrreement....”If I had a gun I would’ve shot him in a second.” “Need more guns in school!”

I wouldn’t call it “anti-religion”. I’d call it “Get off your high horse, Richard. Dude was an asshole and we’re not sad he’s dead”.

You can believe in god and not be an asshole. Still wrong, though.

He was, I think, generally a decent person.

i like this show and its perceptiom as one of Netflix’s worst is baffling to me

By this logic George H W Bush is responsible for everything that happened under the Clinton Administration. It sounds clever, but actually most of what is going on now is because of structural factors that predated Obama, and happened despite the progressive legacy of the Obama Administration.

They get left-leaning folks more interested and involved in politics. How is that bad at this time?

For all you admirable people who want to take the high road and not make fun of him for being balding, I have two remarks:

Can you provide some examples?

“He does research, but picks interpretation’s he agrees with and then doesn’t acknowledge the significant disagreement among actual historians.”
