The distressing thing about the “Trump as independent” coverage is how, even after months of covering his corruption and his refusal to disavow white Nationalists and Neo-Nazis, the mainstream media still wants to normalize him.

I think the expansion of knowledge of Arpaio’s crimes was necessary. The amount of his atrocities Oliver cited is much bigger than I previously heard about, and, I mean, the webcam in the toilet thing... that just takes the cake.

He didn’t really win the crowd over. He said absolutely nothing but “applause” lines. Trite statements like we should all just respect each other.

You’ve got to remember that these are just simple libertarians. These are people of stubborn idealism and intellectual immaturity. The common clay of the new West.

It is not a message. He is just being an insincere contrarian. The question at the town hall was just to troll for his own amusement.

I don’t see how Bone is in the wrong here.

Good on Bone for realizing that he is a person nobody outside of his bubble should know who he is.

He’s a guy that wrote an article on HuffPo that has gotten some traction around the internet, largely because of how dumb it is (I saw it elsewhere and have already made fun of him for crashing his bike so much and blaming it on a city). It’s pop culture because of that.

He was complaining that Chicago is expensive. He’s from San Francisco, for god’s sake. That alone made me realize how full of shit he is.

That was fucking pathetic. This grown, um, “man” is trying to insult a fucking child, and then gets put in his place, and then, of course, whines about it, as the child walks away (being the mental superior here). These alt right losers really are pathetic.

You’re late for your monthly Tea Party meeting at Luby’s, Mr. Constitutional Scholar.

Kinja has proven to be even worse then expected since it moves the comments with the most replies to the top. This creates a page with a vile troll like comment at the top because enough people replied to tell them they were vile. I don’t know what the solution is, maybe just try to reply as much as possible to other

Psst. We have the laziest Congress ever in decades, and you guys never intended to drain the swamp.

Congratulations on finding the worst take.

It’s not unconstitutional until the Court says it is, and anyway, the Constitution is a legal document. not a moral imperative. Don’t try to change the topic just because you don’t like what’s being discussed.

I have a feeling you’re not.

regardless what you feel about it, the whole point of the law was to protect children who were brought here by their parents..children had no say or choice in coming to America, but Now they’re here and have grown up as Americans , this is all they know, it would be pretty fucked up to send them back to a country they

These are children who have lived in America their entire lives, gone to school, gone to college, worked here. They’re not untrained or unskilled and English is their primary language — they also have no memory of their home countries. There are also only 800,000 of them — in a country of 400 million; the richest

I wasn’t thinking it.

Your comment is dumb. This was one of Obama’s policies. Are you saying that the “liberals” (in quotes because I know what kind of shit you’re trying to pull here) would have a problem with Obama changing or getting rid of one of his own policies?
