For a minute there I thought it was a new Lexus

here’s hoping the slideshows die in 2022

Most people seem to be complaining about the looks of [the wiper] . . . ” Have they seen the rest of the fucking thing? I hope Tesla is planning on this being a limited edition, because once they sell em to all the Stans, they aren’t gonna sell too many more.

IDK why I made this, other than it just tickled me.

I’m honesty surprised how quickly the aftermarket jumps on this shit.

My Volkswagen has wipers that park under/behind the cowl of the hood. Pretty much out of sight and out of the wind when not in use. I’m not sure what the problem is with that solution?

Could it be better? Yes but Tesla engineers sweat the details so we don’t have to, they know what they’re doing

I still can't believe people want to buy this abomination.

And I’ll sit on a fucking heating pad plugged into my car before I’ll pay a subscription for heated seats.

Stellantis wants $300 for a map update in my Ram truck. Our Escape has replaceable ROM’s that cost $30. The Escape price is almost reasonable but the Ram - no way in hell for something my smartphone does better.

You can admire how Henry Ford revolutionized the automobile industry while also acknowledging his union busting and war profiteering.

“The car runs and drives, but there are a few issues that need to be ironed out”

A Tesla I might actually buy!

I don’t expect it to make calls, sms or use data, since those all require a service plan. BUT I do still expect it to work as a small tablet, since that doesn’t require anything from the carrier.

Using your analogy, the OEMs are Apple, Samsung, etc. and the AT&T, VZ etc is the service provider.

For vehicls, the OEMs are

1st Gear: I’ll never drive a car I have to pay a subscription fee to utilize. Full stop, won’t do it. If this catches on in the industry and that means I won’t drive a car manufactured after 2025, or I stick exclusively to budget niche cars going forward, fine. But I flatly refuse to pay an ongoing subscription on my
