I want to know the root cause...is this indicative of poorly designed battery packs/housing allowing water in....or is the water getting in because of some damage from the initial crash? It feels like bad design either way (not properly sealed versus weak construction).

I grew up with an RV lifestyle. My family would travel at least monthly as part of a camping club. Almost everyone in the club had an RV, a few had trailers, no one had tents (except for what they packed for their small kids to sleep outside of the main RV).
