So, did you end up ringing it up (wouldn’t that mess up your inventory numbers since the tester is normally a loss?) or just hand it over for free to get her out of your hair?

I’m not so sure his instincts have been neutralized. In the wild it’s the lionesses, not the lions, who hunt. He’s regularly fed so unless that woman acted in an aggressive manner, he wouldn’t be interested in attacking her. Obviously, this isn’t a chance anyone should take but her luck was probably due to her trying

Of course. And I’m not at all surprised she’s helping him pretend he’s a great family guy in the vain hope that he’ll be so grateful to her for propping him up that he’ll change his ways. In a few years, it’ll be her book we’ll be discussing.

True, most of those railing against her were too outraged that she dared to confront the man who had tried to rape her to worry about anything else.

I admire your optimism but from what I know of white people, they won’t be protesting for ordinary white adults or children if they start getting arrested and harshly judged the way black adults and children are. When you see white people get away with stuff it’s either because a) they’re on some team they’re rooting

But this was her job. Monitors aren't paid to sit on their asses while all hell breaks loose on the bus. She had a duty to take steps to stop the assault by two children under her watch of another child also under her watch. She's not some bystander who gets to decide whether or not to intervene. That's why she was

I already see a difference in the way this is being handled from what would usually happen. Have you ever seen white kids involved in a hate crime get arrested and charged before? I don’t think I ever have. I am pleasantly surprised by that. Will the consequences they face be serious, though? I don’t know, but I can’t

As I said all children should be treated as children. I have never been in favor of children being judged as adults and getting adult sentences and records. The fact that black children are routinely judged as adults is what needs to be changed not including more kids in that despicable practice.

What are you talking about, how was my comment disagreeing with your point of view? I stated that I approve of the fact that these girls were arrested and I want them to have a juvenile record however it’s also a fact  that they are children and efforts should be made to rehabilitate them if possible. That goes for

Of course they’ll be treated differently than an adult criminal because there is hope for them despite this. If they were adults the assumption would be that they knew what they were doing and they’d go straight to jail for a few years and get out with a permanent criminal record to follow them for the rest of their

While I do agree that at this age there’s still the possibility that all these children need is therapy, counseling, etc. I’m not mad that they were arrested and I hope they get a juvenile record so that if they assault someone again before they’re of age, it will be known that they’re recidivists and should be dealt

Yes she is.

I have lived on a residential street that had so many trees creating shadows that at night you could barely tell which house was yours despite the streetlights being on. I walked past my house a few times but I was never so tired, despite 12 hour shifts spent walking throughout a store, that I even turned into the

That prosecutor is also a moron. He is giving her an opening to just say she made the wrong choice despite the fact that she had no excuse for drawing her gun just because she thought a burglary was in progress.

There are centenarians who have smoked all their lives without having health problems, that doesn’t mean it’s harmless. Vaping has been on the market just a few years and had killed 9 and caused health issues for an unknown number even though it was labelled safe and so much better than tobacco. If we can pull the

So this baby raising book was written by the French state? If not, your argument makes no sense at all.

Lol, what? Unless you can prove the value of your business, its price is whatever buyers want to pay for it, not whatever you ask.

Halcyon days, when the biggest news of the day could be that an author was getting raked over the coals for putting too much fiction in his nonfiction.

From what I’ve seen it’s traditionally run nonprofits/charities that are the biggest offenders for having bloated overheads.

I suppose they could lie to the public at large for a while to keep up their reputation but the truth would come out pretty quick because fundraising organizers can’t pull money out of other client accounts to cook the books the way an investment manager can.
