Prince William said often with the t sound and it startled me more than I can say.

And all that could have been achieved by them if they had followed procedure. Knock on the door even if it’s open. Once someone answers identify yourself and state why you’re there. Even if the person who first answers tells you everything is fine, ask if the other occupants can come to the door to talk to you and obse…
What are they toddlers that I should have made them feel better about the ordeal of walking thirty feet to ask me a question?
Hmm, I think you figured it out because no other reason fits.
Eh, their comebacks strike me as ’if you build it, they will come’ situations. Clubs rolling out the red carpet for them implies that what they did was no big deal and makes a few hundred people in each city agree and buy tickets but I hadn’t heard a single person say they were missed until that happened.
Oh, God, the dogs! I think I block those out. There was one damned creature who barked for five days straight -day and night- for no apparent reason except it wanted to and our equally damned neighbor couldn’t be convinced that her miniature pest’s yapping carried for at least three city blocks until animal welfare…
Bah, they probably know going in and don’t care. They’re signalling to the world that they’re immoral and corrupt knowing that’s a ticket to a cushy seat on most corporate boards. Plus a solid third of the population will look up to them no matter what because they stood up against abortion rights and all those…
I called the station to complain about this and they were full of excuses. They kept harping on the fact that the one who did most of the talking was a rookie as if that made it better. Why the heck are you letting your dumb rookie run his mouth? And why didn't whoever was training him shut him up?
Right, everyone is so respectful of their neighbor’s peace and quiet whenever we hear about a citizen standing up for themselves.
Yes, what is up with cops thinking they have the run of people’s property? They came to my house once and said it was because there had been reports of a woman screaming. I was home and hadn’t heard anything of the kind and told them so. Then they ask if they can walk through my house to the back yard to check it out.…
Yup, bet your bottom dollar those commenters are all in favor of stand your ground laws including when cops enter their precious homes without (or even with) a warrant but they always want other people to put up with over-policing and intrusive incidents because..reasons. And we all know what the reasons are.
I’d wouldn’t side with the TSA, I’ve seen over the top and arbitrary behavior from them far too often to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Wait, so you’re saying it’s out of entitlement that a woman who has probably flown a few hundred times since 1999 (20 years ago) is complaining for only the second time ever about being searched in an invasive manner? Riiight.
The door was open because she was out having a smoke, so in other words they walked right past her and into her home because they were told there was an argument going on? Since in most cases an argument would mean a woman might be in danger, if their excuse was real wouldn’t they have stopped to talk to any woman…
You shouldn’t be. People often touch all the rolls while reaching for the one they want. Plus they talk, cough and put out spittle. Bread is organic and will decompose without harming the environment, that's not a product that needs to be reused.
I don’t but I also think it isn’t quite fair to put the burden on him to bring diversity wherever he goes. Why is a designer at the beginning of his career being asked to seek out talented poc even if it means he has to relocate them half way across the world when established houses who have raked in vast fortunes…
Yes, DAs are allowed to drop the charges yet so often they offer a plea deal to save the police department’s face. If your cops are bringing you bogus cases, tell them to learn to do their damned job properly by not prosecuting citizens even on lesser charges.
Or, the more likely outcome; he never returns to this island he has absolutely no ties to and thus has gotten away with murder for the price of a nice car. I’d call that waltzing out and dare you to find an instance of comparable leniency where the races of victim and murderer are reversed.
What gives me pause is that it turned out her son was never diagnosed with autism. She is the one who said that's what he had and then, that he was cured. She should be in jail for fraud.
Seconding your comment. Two of my mother’s friends have had the same implants since the early seventies -almost 50 years- and apparently that’s very common for women who kept their original implants instead of switching to silicon gel filled types in the 1980s when those became popular.
