I get the feeling that if it was in a fabric with a sheen that added some contrast in certain lights, it would represent better, or maybe if she added a belt to break up the line more obviously. The matte-ness makes the capey bit in back sort of blend in with the rest of her body, making it more Zbornak than Taylor,

Makes me think of the Go Fug Yourself girls and how they used to call Blake Lively "Boobs McLegsly" because she always went with a super-plunge neckline and high slits.

Every time I see this photo as a thumbnail, I think her head's around backwards a la "Death Becomes Her". I wish my eyes would stop messing with me.

I feel like this is a Taylor Swift dress >.>

If she had a chunky gold necklace and a matching gold belt (thinking Versace here), it would be a 1000% more Liz Taylor. Even without it, she's definitely channeling old glamour, and I'm with you—it's hella refreshing. I wish I could see her shoes.

That's an awesome belt. Really works on that dress.

Double-breasted? Ugh, I could never pull that off. Love the sheen of the fabric, and the necklace is a nice touch of colour.

Yeah, there's nothing I'd rescue about this dress. Well, can't win 'em all. At least her hair and makeup is spot-on :)

Gaga wishes she was this fierce. Grace Jones, doing it first and better since before Stefanie was born. BAM.

Mmm, Blintzkreig. Delicious _and_ festive!

That's awesome and evil. Kudos ^_^

To be fair, sometimes we cop out of being blunt with guys out of fear for our personal safety, and not all of us have been taught how to say no in a firm, polite way. Lots of us were brought up with that "be nice" crap that leads us to not be as forthright as we should be. It's hard to break out of that "don't rock

Oooooor better yet, say, "Hey, this was fun, but let's leave it at this, okay?"

I love the outfit, and I really like the colour, but somehow it doesn't work on her skin tone, at least to my eye. If it was red, or black, or even an emerald green...

Lilac would work; so would a light leaf green.

The dress appears to be wearing her, instead of the other way around.

I take it the air was a bit dry :P

Love this dress, and how she accessorized. She looks great.
