Or maybe he just loves his Grandma and in this day and age the way he wants to record his remaining time with her is via a readily available and popular medium?

That bothers me.
Exactly. His shorts were not equivalent to her suit.
That nerdy girl is just a hot chick with glasses on, not even remotely equivalent to the nerdy guy in the real GoDaddy ad.
The last guy should have worn a speedo. Just saying.
That Dorito one was weird any way you cut it.
MY HELL, THIS IS MY HELL. I hate being observed. Being watched without realizing it in what is supposed to be a safe space where you should be able to be vulnerable and let your guard down is fucking unspeakable.
Careful now
Oh, I just love this man.
"Have you ever wondered what Oscar Darling Lupita Nyong'o might've looked like as an 8-year-old? Or Jennifer Lawerence as a schoolgirl?!"
NO.
What 18 month old DOESN'T like to dance and clap? I love how stage parents use things like that to handwave criticism. Lady, an 18 moth old didn't tell you to enroll her in anything. You, though, YOU want your little bundle of talent to go out there and become the next future Disney star breakdown.
The Blue Jasmine picture is grotesque and shows how willing these parents are to sacrifice their children for 15 minutes of fame.
Children being made to look adult is always creepy.
Or because the music is terribad.
"Dudes, if you catch yourself in a moment where you're about to instruct a complete stranger as to what facial expression you'd like her to display, stop, think "wow, self, I'm being kind of a bossy, intrusive asshole, huh?", and keep your instructions to yourself."
Huzzah! I did this just a couple hours ago—headphones: they're like armor!
For. The. WIN!!!
I think what really sticks in my craw about male human strangers telling me to "smile" on the street/bar/wherever, is that it renders my existence entirely relational to theirs. As others have expressed, it is all kinds of narcissistic to believe that my actions should be dictated by the preferences of others.
Sometimes I get this gem from guys at parties/work, and it was immensely satisfying when I came up with a response.
