I understand that the film takes place in Japan, and that the characters are presumably Japanese, but the artists sure don’t make that clear via the art style, save for a couple characters.

From a military perspective, Sansa made the right decision. Jon would have almost assuredly taken the Knights of the Vale and attempted a siege, because Ramsay would have no reason to try to defeat an army that large on the battlefield.
I saw something like that over on IGN but to be honest, season 1 might be the only season you should do it with. After season 1 it gets very serialized and it hooks you in like an unattended chocolate ice cream cake would hook a fat kid in.
Looking to get into CBS’ stellar Person of Interest but don’t have the time to watch all the episodes? Follow this path.
I agree, it was clumsily handled, it could have been made more clear how deliberate it all was on Sansa’s part (if indeed it was). All we really get is Sansa’s cryptic advice to Jon about not falling for Ramsay’s tricks. That conversation is the only thing I’m drawing my conclusion from.
I think that when you look at the state of things in the north, holding back the cavalry was the best strategy with them, and I think that if you look at Jon, you’ll see that he’d never do such a thing. So maybe Sansa was stupid, but it’s also possible that she was so smart she recognized this too and so decided to…
The convincing answer is that in order to win the battle Ramsay needed to be outsmarted. If Jon knew he had a bigger army he likely would have changed his approach to the battle. Ramsay then would not have left himself so susceptible to the second wave. Sansa deserves all the glory for orchestrating this from the…
The little smirk on her face when her men took out the Boltons makes me think she wanted the glory and to prove that she’s just as capable as everyone else in the war tent.
Counterpoint: King is very technically talented but he throws a lot of shit at the wall and not all of it sticks.
Okay, seriously... I’m tired of waiting. This needs to happen soon, dammit.
My new fan theory: they filmed it 11 times because HE'S GOING TO KILL ALL ELEVEN OF THEM! Negan will then become the primary protagonist of the show going forward.
“Too meta?” Lol
“Katharine Trendacosta is upset.”
considering you’re angry enough to give them the free press of an update, I think they did a pretty good job of accomplishing their goal. To be honest, they really don’t have to say anything about the episode. We’d all watch if it the synopsis were “man sticks finger up butt of another man,” which in fairness,…
I was thinking this exact thing, this morning. My favorite show runner was from the first season. Why? Because the quality was consistent. That's more important than having Gimple who has episodes that range from mediocre to good. I'd rather all above-average episodes, than such a wide range of quality this show seems…
It’s well worth the wait, that cliffhanger, I will say that. This season that we’re doing now is going to answer every question, and it’s well worth the wait — well worth the wait.
I would just like to pat myself on the back for having excellent taste lol I watch all three genre shows as well as Masters of None, Blackish, and UnReal. They all deserve they are excellent JJ is a great show its so dark and twisty and the she consent thing was amazing it just stuck with you. I had to stop a couple…
The Leftovers is simple awesome.
The Leftovers and Mr. Robot are some of the best TV I’ve ever seen. When season 2 of the The Leftovers came out I was taking care of my two young kids which has a certain hormonal effect in men (testosterone drops so you don’t decide to eat them). Just the credits would make me tear up.
This is bullshit and you know it. So, if I’m critical of HRC’s record on mass incarceration, trade, drone strikes, Libya, the economy, civil liberties (DOMA?)—all substantive issues in which the garden variety progressive might take exception with her ACTUAL RECORD (not just soundbytes)...it’s because they’re sexists?…
