I see your point... It just feels a bit odd and shoe-horned that it’s Batman and the Flash. It would feel more natural if it were someone from Flash’s supporting characters (like Jay Garrick).

He’s really trying to make it work and develop a good relationship with all of them. He might be a mentor to The Flash.
