Its relatively easy to turn motion into modulation of RF. You just make an inductor or capacitor with moving parts coupled to whatever motion you want to sense. (For maximum temperature you are limited further as you can't use fun tricks with magnets)

Is BMW really going to be the only brand still going with electric + range extender? I love our Volt, and would be worried about having a pure electric in a place with natural disasters.

Make a mix of half hydrogen peroxide, half warm water, and add in the contents of a Docusate Sodium (colace) gelcap.

From the article the problem was essentially salt water flooding. Not clear how high the water went.

That might be something other defendants will bring up. “look at this dumb mother, you really think he knows anything about who is or isn’t in a gang?”

I’m sure there are other ways to do it, but I’m surprised they don’t paint little grey/black patches on bits that need temperature checks so IR temp measurement can work better. It’s not as nice a look, but really nice if you ever want to know just how hot or cold something is and would rather not be right next to the

Roast tomato doesn’t sound too bad. Soggy tomato however...

Lets say the VW diesel’s were given a pass by the new federal rules, and California can’t directly make emission rules. You really don’t think they would go after VW directly for the damage done to citizens?
