Passing on a double yellow is legal, as yellow road markings denote the recommended course of action only (Everywhere I’ve ever lived at least, it may be illegal somewhere). As an example, it’s not illegal to go faster than the yellow speed signs on corners.

are you a complete fucking idiot or just 95% fucking idiot or just shitty troll on kinja?

The internet has voted and the results are in.

The anger isn’t from getting passed genius, it’s from years of dealing with the repercussions of people like this coming up here causing problems that go back home and leave us locals here to deal with it. Who do you think catches the hell when cops come out and crack down on everyone up here? This guy?

Double yellow.

Cool story bro.

It’s a fucking double yellow on one of the more dangerous and curvy roads in the eastern U.S.

Do you really have nothing better to do than troll? What life choices have you made to bring you here?

Well this is Tennesee so...

Why are you being greater than 90° about this? Just reweatch the video with open eyes.

Dude what? Are you fucking blind? Stay off the road.

Yeah... you’re dumb. The fact that nobody in the comments agrees with you should indicate this, but you’re probably too dumb to understand that too.

Well I only hope your poor driving habits only maim/kill you in your soon to be near/fatal crash. If you think that pass was okay at all you should find yourself a performance driving instructor and have them walk you through every bad decision that Miata made. I don’t have time for trolls. Safe driving.

It’s a two-way road. You NEVER cross the center line on the dragon. Even just on the line you run the risk of hitting a motorcyclist’s head as he’s leaning around a turn.

Not a lawyer but the driver used her horn to alert another driver of their unsafe vehicle operation. Like when someone is not paying attention and moving into your lane.

In addition to being comically wrong, I’m also concerned about how short you think “800 feet” is.

You must be watching a different video...

The turns are blind, the S2000 and motorcycle aren’t going slow (looks like she’s in 3rd gear the whole time (~25-40mph), Miata illegally passes and nearly has a head-on collision. I don’t understand how you can stand on your position. Do you accept breaking the law and putting an innocent driver’s life at the hands

I’m glad this guy is getting properly roasted on the internet. That asswagon is lucky he and several other motorists aren’t in body bags because of this stunt.

My beer is brewed and bottled in the U.S.A. (in Texas)
