On this day in 1971, Apollo 15 astronauts road the lunar rover for the first time. It was an electric car, of course.

I learned to drive in dad’s ‘64 F100 CrewCab, and it has been in my life ever since. Needing another truck to haul around the ‘64 to get restored (that didn’t happen however), I bought a ‘87 F150 4WD single cab.

I can accept that but you just said they're useless. Full stop. Not that it's be useless for what you'd use it for

Did you know other people use their trucks differently than you use yours? Sounds crazy I know, but it’s actually true.

ahhh so youre saying because its not useful to you its not useful at all to anyone? how closed minded and a short bed can still carry 8 foot 2x4s or sheets of plywood if youve got them strapped down tight and a saftey flag hanging off the back. then you can take up to 6 people to a job site to help you instead of at

what is everyones obsession with hauling plywood. a 6.5 foot bed on a crew cab can fit two dirt bikes along with all your gear in the cab in case it rains.

I used to say that. Now the only reason I want a longer bed is so I can stick an ATV/motorcycle in the bed. And even I can admit that a trailer is a better use of funds than trying to get 600 lbs of machine 4 feet in the air with me on top.

My extended family owns two companies one masonry one general home builder and I’m in oil and gas. I see a lot of pickup trucks in my day to day. From a utility standpoint it makes zero sense to buy a single cab. I can always rent/buy a trailer to suit my needs. buying a single cab means that I’m buying two trucks or

I know this started with a couple places doing it to Chevy trucks, and it’s a fantastic idea, but the Chevys just never looked totally right because the lines of the body didn’t cater to the design. The Ford however? Everything fits with body lines. It’s honestly incredible. Make this a factory option. Absolutely

ill never understand the obsession with single cabs, i personally like room in the cab to store stuff, or drive my kids somewhere

Because love it or hate it, bombastic over-analysis and holding mindless shooters to the same standards as classic novels is kind of Alexandra’s thing.

This reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from Captain America.  “So many people forget that the first country the Nazis invaded was their own.”

Oh, Das Boot. You just know somewhere on the internet, in the year of our Lord 2018, someone has a dumb take saying Das Boot is bad because Nazis.

There were twice as many Wehrmacht heavy tank battalions as there were SS tank battalions, the chances they were SS are actually lower.

By that stage of the war a lot of Wehrmacht Armoured units were made up of everyone, so the ability to say whether they were definitely SS or Heer isn’t a surefire one.

But there’s a problem. It’s 2018 and I don’t need or particularly want media to humanize Nazis. I acknowledge that history is complex, and I’m glad that Battlefield treats it that way. But The Last Tiger’s extraordinary production value is hell-bent on telling the tale of “the Good German” while glossing over the

This game will flunk hard, and hopefully will be a direct lesson for the execs at DICE, but then stubborness can be the end of some people, so who knows.... Maybe nothing will be learned.

Every year, the art team at DICE do some of the best work in video games
