I should have specified that wasn’t the real intention of it, just a byproduct. I just wanted to be able to turn them on independently of the low beams is a sort of DRL for the evenings just because I thought it would look cool.

That’s actually the reason I did it too, to turn them on by themselves. I didn’t really have a reason though I just think it looks cool, haha.

I drive a 2010 Tacoma and can verify what the driver said is true. I actually messed with the wiring a bit to allow me to use the high beams with the fog lights otherwise they go off as soon as you flip them on.

Sounds like living Heil for the passengers...

Although not 100% sure I’d assume it would have the e-locking diff like the TRD Off Road the current and past models have had. If not then that’s dumb.

Already here! Unless you’re talking about a redesigned Tundra in which case it may be a while...

And speaking of grey, could I get out of it by any chance?

German vehicles always seems to look good in a sort of dark bluish-grey:

Made better that it looks like the shifter from my old 94 Camry lol

Wasn’t even aware of the Red Arrows crash, wow 3 of the biggest demo teams all that close together.

This is a completely off topic question, but I think I’ve seen Ram trucks in the background of a couple of Top Gears before in the UK, it always was kind of interesting to me. If they’re actually sold there (I’m thinking it would be the 1500s?) are they just used for actual “truck” jobs in more rural areas I’d guess?

The Hustler is one of those planes I always forget about then when I see a picture I’m just amazed it ever existed, what a crazy looking jet.

I’m strongly in the black steel wheels on offroad vehicles camp, but the wheel/tire combo on this thing looks absolutely fantastic. It’s also not helping my burning desire for the anniversary edition 70 series available in Japan to somehow make its way over here.

I could be completely wrong but I think they have to hit the tank in pretty particular spots, just hitting it is in no way a guaranteed kill... I think. Still, you have a point.

Honestly I’ve been impressed with how versatile you are as far as subjects you’ve covered. First thing I remember really noticing your name with was the Beyond James Bond posts and I thought you were just the guy that did those. Then started seeing you write stuff all over the sub blogs and honestly everything that

Managed to actually go backwards by slow flighting into a strong headwind in a 152 once, good times.

Air America? Apologies if someone already mentioned it.

You’re not wrong. I just googled 4runner trail and was like “Oh wow I forgot how good that looks” and then realized that was before the facelift.
