College isnt the only way! Go look at your plumber, electrician, HVAC, mechanic, welder, etc. etc and see how they and their families are living and I bet you’d be surprised. This idiotic notion that a four year degree is the only way to live well in the US is asinine. We need to stop pushing people toward Colleges…

This is amazing!  I agree with the method they are trying to use.  I don’t see a lump sum reparation ever happening, but that doesn’t mean we can’t help lift up these people through assistance programs/grants, and other methods of aiding them in closing the economic gap.  Free college would be a great start.

Hopefully if enough individual cities do this kind of thing and the general population sees how easy it is to implement, the federal government can be pressured to make it a national policy.
