I think Cuomo does, that’s why he’s bringing it up. The plant being able to manufacture Ventillators will be a huge help, yes, but it doesn’t help with the shortages that New York is experiencing right now.

That’s the problem, the money is all going to GM, he can’t get any of that money funneled into any of his friends and families businesses.

He does realize that even if he does invoke the Defense Production Act he will have to pay for the ventilators he forces people to build for the federal government.   Of course if he follows his practice from back when he was building casinos he will just not pay them and declare bankruptcy.
