Inhofe, by the way, was one of the eight senators who voted against the relief bill that passed (90-8) earlier this week. So. Use that information however you see fit, Oklahomans.

So how long until Moscow Mitch announces that the senate is investigating only Dianne Feinstein for this?

In a way it would be more disturbing if they didn’t have insider information. They’re senators, who attended a closed meeting with the head of the NIH - I expect them to have insider information. It’s using it for personal enrichment that’s supremely fucked up.

This times 10 million. We have watched our hard earned retirement savings evaporating in recent weeks, on top of the very real fear that my husband’s job will disappear in the coming months. Sure wish we had had the same information they had last month. But in all probability they will suffer no consequences. 

Burr has denied having insider information, as has Loeffler.

Not exactly sure people are in the mood for a “both sides suck actually...” in the middle of a pandemic kicked off by one of the sides acting completely irresponsibly while the other side tried everything it could to pass legislation to help the victims.

Also, they’re jokes, for Christ’s sake.

In a case like this, I think it’s less specifically ‘this doesn’t align with my views’ as it is ‘I feel the point this is making is disingenuous.’

Again, as people have pointed out, over time, South Park’s ‘both sides are equally terrible’ line has started to ring more hollow thanks to one side pretty openly embracing…
