Actually, no, it’s true.

In the US, yes, that’s the case. In China, which Tesla corporate growth predictions were heavily depending on, they’re just not selling. They went to all the work of ramping up production at the Shanghai production plant, and it turns out a lot of Chinese buyers don’t want a Tesla.
