Oh wow, the timing. Me and some friends tried it out yesterday on Game Pass, and holy shit was the middle difficulty hard. We had to book it through levels, and it wasn’t really that fun. Way harder than the beta, which I guess was locked to easy. It kinda sucks cause I remember that feeling too easy, but maybe they

I mean they can just be different games for different audiences, too. Sure, they’re both small town life sims, but asides from that they’re polar opposites in terms of graphics, mechanics and content. The short days and fixed world in Stardew makes it more focused on time management and efficiency, even if you’re a

Depression isn’t rational, you don’t know what’s gonna fuck you up.

Knowing that this show doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell to be as great as the original, it’s a lot easier to just appreciate a project by a bunch of people who just love Bebop. There’s a fan film cheesiness to it that I kinda dig. I think their hearts are in the right place, trying to do right by the original,

Watching the cast reveal live was the most emotion I’ve felt in months. Fluctuating rapidly between shock, bewilderment, happiness, and confusion.

Baseless conspiracy theories are pretty evil, too.

Titanfall is a very good game with an incredible sense of momentum. But I can see why respawn refuses to implement wall running/pilots in apex legends. Considering you can’t just respawn after a short cooldown, having to deal with an opponent that has that degree of speed and mobility would be an absolute nightmare.

As a dev working working some hardcore end-game Raid content for a famous shooter-looter a few years ago I added a door with a button that looked like a riddle to get access to some loot. The button was just connected to a “change button to a random color” and I duplicated the setup right a little further  this time

I think in the context of a series that’s almost 20 years old, with so many entries, it’s perfectly acceptable to both compare it to that series, and talk about what you think the series should have done by now. Which means talking about what it didn’t do. Plenty of game reviews should, have, and will talk about what

As a Montréaler myself, I must send this link in any lessons or discussions about Québécois french. It’s like maple syrup sharing:

I can’t remember if it was THE first, but Jurassic Park: The Lost World was one of the first console games with an original orchestrated score, at the behest of Sir Steven himself, who called Giacchino “a young John Williams” during that game’s production.

There’s a nice symmetry here since Oscar-winning composer Michael Giacchino (LOST, bunch of Pixar movies, etc) got his start composing video games, including the original Medal of Honor.

HELL YEAH!

Sure, and damage control, in this instance isn’t necessarily bad, right? “We messed up, here is what you want.” seems like an okay sentiment?

Note to devs: “Forced” PVP in what is seemingly a PVE game is never a good idea. Saying “Ohh its optional” (as long as you dont mind missing out on events, loot, and new gear) doesnt cut it.
