The downside to Fuecoco is that it evolves into a ghost type and the game is chockablock full of really cool ghost types that I want to slot into my team.

Coming from Apex Legends, a game where you are always just a few matches away from being killed by a guy who just ledge boosted into a tap strafe into a wall bounce like they’re playing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater: The FPS, this sounds quaint.
The gimmick this time is pretty cool this time araound since it changes a pokemon’s type and isn’t just a “do a big powerful move” gimmick. There’s some weird and clever things you can pull off (or the game throws at you), like turning turning a pokemon with the levitate ability into an electric type so it’s…
I like Mantis for one reason: destroying my opponent’s deck. I have a gimmick deck that has her, Yandu, and Cable and and while it’s probably not the greatest strategically, it’s crazy satisfying to know you are ruining all their combos by destroying or stealing their cards.
Arguably the best response to this discourse:
Extremely weird to me that the rewards for watching the game are way better than the rewards for playing the game. Blizzard really done goofed the F2P aspect of this game.
As someone who spends the most of my time playing support, it’s just not really fun to play in Overwatch 2. It has all the same problems as Overwa1ch (stupid teammates, being blamed for losing everything) but with the extra pressure of having one less tank to protect you. Like, playing support may as well be playing…
Haven’t they changed the DPS role passive, like, 85 times already?
Yeah, DPS Moira has been around pretty much since Role Queue was a thing. The joke is that DPS players playing in the Flex Queue to get their Genie Fast Passes for DPS Queue gravitate to Moira and Hog.
Yeah I was wondering what was going on today. I just downloaded the game to try it out since I get into Overwatch about bi-annually (I got...mixed feelings on all the changes) and I was wondering why after making supper most of the heroes were locked for me. Extremely frustrating not being able to play the characters…
Yeah she’s pretty strong, but it might be your hero selection. Her tankiness relies on her hitting people with her abilities so she really excells at close-range brawling. The enemy team is just a big juice box for her to punch open and drink up health. If you keep your distance with a longer-range hero or someone…
Yeah I follow quite a bit of games, but for whatever reason Apex is probably the most toxic gaming community I’ve sewn. So much so that pro player ImperialHal, the lauded “CEO of Apex”, had to have his audio cut off during a pro match because he was just yelling horrible things at his teammates when they lost a fight.…
This just reminded me of a bit on Dungeons & Daddies (not a BDSM podcast) where they’re dealing with Lovecraftian monsters.
Yeah that’s part of it. I believe there are 750 per platform. But also there’s the problem that they’re scattered across different regions. Plus preds don't usually solo-queue, so you get full teams of the top players vs a random assortment of lesser ranked players.
First people complained that there was SBMM, now they complain that SBMM isn’t working.
Yeah no the rule of the Apex Reddit (and Reddit in general) is that it’s 99% all bluster and salt. Just go there to get your funny videos and get out.
Between this and the Zero Escape guy’s gender bomb last week, it’s cool seeing culture and language catch up to these genderqueer characters. It's really fascinating to me.
I think Catholics were on to something with Purgatory. Like, sure, you’re getting into heaven on a technicality, but we gotta send you to hell for a bit to work off all the terrible things you did. See you in a few thousand years!
Oh, boss. Was leveling some characters last night and went against a guy who got stomped in the first match so he switched to Taz on the rematch, spammed the tornado, and won. So I switched to my main (Garnet) and stomped him again. Hella satisfying. Glad he’s been nerfed.
Yeah, nothing against Lebron personally, but I think we’ve had enough recent examples of “something bad comes out about irl person” or whatever and kind of ruins the project their attached to. Like, remember when they had to change McCree’s name in Overwatch because the real McCree turned out to be a huge creep?
