That’s why I usually don’t debate them with facts, but with an even stupider theory. Oh, you think the earth is flat? Heh, poor fool still thinks the earth actually exists.

Realistic Sora’s animations hitting me like

Yeah, realistic Sora isn’t hitting me right. He’s still got that goofy exaggerated run and silly spinny moves that just don’t feel right for the setting. It’s got big Pirates of the Caribbean world vibes going (an anime character and two cartoon animals running around in a gritty realistic environment).

What got me about Forgotten Land’s ending is just how out of left field it came. Like, Kirby is gonna fight big elder gods and stuff, but there’s usually some kind of progression. There’s a big plant and the final boss is a big plant/bee lady, there’s a magic guy and he summons a big magic guy, you fight robots and

I saw someone describe the game as “Poochifying the most Poochiefied video game character."

Its really hard to emphasize how much Huge Fucking Dork energy is coming from that tweet.

Hmm, tried a whip the other night and wasn’t too impressed. My go-to weapon for my Dex+Int build right now is Great Epee with a Phalinx Ash and Brass Shield (heavy defense with a lot of poise breaking and crit potential). What are you using with your whips to make them so powerful?

Yeah the difficulty gave me anxiety too up to the point where I avoided Stormveil Castle for basically 30 hours because I heard there were super-hard bosses that’d just absolutely shadrach you when you went in. Because of that I was kind of over leveled and actually had a very pleasant time. It was a fun dungeon! I

I will say as a Soulsborne newbie who’s bounced off each of the previous games, Elden Ring might be the one I stick through this time. I’ve already put in more hours than all the other From games I’ve played combined. So if you’ve played some of the past Souls games and bounced off them, maybe give Elden Ring a shot.

Apex is probably the best in the biz for little charter moments like this. Mirage trying to cheer Pathfinder up after Ash dumped him, Horizon’s passive agression to Ash, Wattson trying not to give away all of Crypto’s secrets and not doing too well. I don’t know if the game has that good of a story, but it at least

Ok so we all know that using magic and summons is the unofficial easy mode for the game and that you’re not a true Soulsborne player if you use them or whatever.

Yeah, I only did the tutorial level because that nice-looking door is locked if the game isn't completely installed yet. Because why the heck would you jump down a scary hole when there's a perfectly good door?

Apparently skeletons have changed a lot since Pong.

It might just be because I’m out of the video game hype cycle now, but did any of those games have a good marketing push behind them? I feel like they each kinda came out and I was pleasantly surprised. Aside from their Final Fantasies, I don’t think Squenix is great at marketing their other big games like other big

I imagine most devs are playing catchup because Epic has been at it so long that they got their events down to a science. Plus it probably doesn’t hurt that they’re working with the game engine they invented, have a pretty huge team working on it, and an absurd amount of resources to throw at the game.

That’s why I like Kanamori in the Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken anime. It’s a show about making anime and she’s basically the producer for the other characters. And even though it’s mostly seen as a thankless job she’s the one who keeps the other creatives on track, on schedule, and on budget. Like, she’s just as

Yeah I’ve noticed the same thing. It feels like some pokemon seem to go neutral or have their awareness/aggro distance shortened. Maybe it has to do with your party level, filling out your pokedex, or your star level?

Yeah that reminds me of Apex and how a lot of people didn’t know that the EVA-8 Auto shotgun was automatic despite...you know...it being called the EVA-8 Auto.

I didn’t know Snip3down pivoted to pro Halo. I respect the heck out of him for his pure skill, but geeze does he have bad opinions when it comes to pro play. I remember for Apex he suggested changes like making circle closures more predictable, not being able to use certain abilities and ultimates in the final ring,
