I'd say Untitled Goose Game made the most cultural impact though. Like, it may not be the flashiest or deepest experience of 2019, but *everybody* and their mom played it. I don't think any game that year had anywhere near the same level of public consciousness behind it.

I recently played a game that may as well be a Goofus and Gallant comic. One teammate died and I grabbed the banner while the other looted his corpse. He literally ran straight past a respawn beacon and I had to catch up to respawn our teammate. We safely revived each other when knocked down while he ran around

I’ve kind of turned around on Revenant after a few games playing as him and against him. I think conceptually he’s a really fun (if not annoyingly edgy) character and his whole persona as some kind of monster man helps differentiate him from Caustic and blends really well with his abilities. His silence can really

holy shit

Some of the changes are going to take some getting used to. Especialy the G7 and the new sniper ammo. It’s just really weird relearning what is and isn’t a sniper now.

What was up with all the birds in Gen V being absolute dumbasses?

Now that Tetsuya Nomura is done making more Xehanorts he can get back to his true passion: making more Soras.

I’d say it’s a good dynamic for Battle Royale-style stories, but it’s not a very good fit for Battle Royale-style competitive games. A big draw of battle royale games is that everybody has the same chance as anybody else, it’s superior mechanical skills, risk assessment, and a bit of luck that makes a winner. That

If I had my guess I’d say it had something to do with Skyhook, the giant tower/cable/space elevator thing that shoots all the way into sky. I mean, it’s the first thing you see at the start of every match.

Damn, son. You're supposed to lick the boot, not eat it.

Basically:

Oh yeah no, any accents brought over into an English spelling of a foreign word is just bonus fancy points. XD

You could argue it’s the anglicised version of the word “soiree” since it brings to mind a specific type of event and historical time period in that language and thus is not bound to the same gender constraints of the language, mais ce n’est pas mes affaires.

I’m also kinda digging the barrage of modes. One of the problems with some past events (mainly singles and Fight or Fright) was that people would find exploits or broken character combos that would eventually dominate that mode, and anybody who to play to win or fill out their challenge list would use them. I think

Finally, some event skins I like! Reminds me a bit of Prey with the space-age Art Deco.

Oh man. I love cooking shows and I am extremely upset I missed this one.

Yeah, I don’t really know enough about the runner (or the accociate batting for him in the article) to make a value call on his normal behavior, but even the most generous reading of the situation is that this was three wild communication errors made in one Twitter bio. Native speaker or no, that’s kinda sketchy.

Citation needed.

As a connoisseur of the finest garbage, I'm going to have to play these now. Thanks, other Zack.
