You can throw the current gen V6 Camaro and Mustangs in with the later G35/37 models. The Camaro is an awesome sports car, and the V6 has plenty of power. I have a current gen V6 Mustang, with a chip tune and exhaust and it sounds great and is fun to ring out to 7000 rpm. I know people like to rag on the “rental” pony…
I know, it’s a bummer that GM doesn’t put the 7L into production cars anymore. But you can still buy it as a crate engine brand new! It’s too bad that emissions regulations aren’t more flexible— I feel like for relatively limited-run cars like the C6 Z06 the restrictions should be more lax than for some economy car…

The facelifted g20s have aged remarkably well from the outside. I always found them to be pretty handsome. I imagine the turbo motor drops in quite easily.
