Imaging artifact. Many of the images we get of deep space objects wouldn’t look like that with the naked eye. Some artistic license is required since our eyes don't even see the wavelengths many imaging sensors do.
This is 100 percent correct. I am a car guy, love my cars and keep up on all maintenance and that kind of thing. But i have never once replaced a spare tire.
