Yep.True autonomy -with the sensors they are using- is near impossible .
Adding micro beacons to the bikes or similar tech would allow cars to pinpoint you with a workable level of reliability.

I’ve always hated this aspect of cars!! Early in my life i met the best designed machines maybe ever and it’s colored my attitude to design.
Or more correctly bad design -see below.

I came here to say something very similar.I’m for *some of the things these guys are demanding yet even i hate them for blocking the roads.Whether it’s left wing assholes or right wing crazys, there are no excuses for making others people’s lives worse!!

We’re clamping down on tesla for allowing rolling stops which are (mostly) harmless and a dumb law.
Yet we allow them to use FSD which makes tons of dangerous mistakes.

That’s an interesting situation with such a heavy bike.
If the bike topples ,the rider has to actively move against the fall to avoid being thrown through those useless looking wires.

It sounds like he got hit from both sides- a mechanic recommending longer intervals and an engine that has little leeway for error.
