Ok the claims about making a huge difference are dumb, but lets cut them off at an even lower point.
Autonomy wont help much yet.
It’s just not reliable enough.
Lots of things can go wrong even when doing the simplest jobs. Tynes jammed with trash or rocks, getting bogged, breakages, etc, etc
Also there’s not much efficiency

It’s kind of true.Sort of.
There’s a massive number of people worldwide who will soon join the middle class. These people will eat more(duh),but will also eat more intensively raised food .It’s this which leads to a larger demand for crops to feed the animals.

“ If you really want to do some good, tip the underpaid, stressed ...etc”

6V71? You got my vote right there

I dont know David. This feels very judgy.
Why judge auto makers on the buying priorities of consumers back then?
In that era people wanted big heavy cars. The common knowledge was that heavier meant safer, longer lasting, more comfortable and more rust resistant. And it was actually mostly true.
It’s no surprise this carried

That proposed treatment is interesting.I’m guessing the system will use heat recovery to save energy.
It will probably cost a bomb to set up, then be relatively cheap to run.But hey,im guessing

Interesting.Ive read of the toxic substance they use to make rayon(and in theory it’s all captured and recycled,so no big deal) but didnt realize the factory gives off that kind of stink.
Poop smell sounds worse than chemicals if im honest

I dont know if you’re serious or only joking but you’re right both ways in any acse. A well tuned autonomous system would be able to time things far closer than we would like!
Which makes me wonder if terrible slow drivers will be allowed to set their car so that it’s responses annoy the hell out of everyone else

I think i’m ok with FSD rolling through stop signs. At least for now while they have a human driver (if we can call a tesla enthusiast a normal human driver)
It’s a minor issue for now.
If they can make autonomy actually work reliably, maybe then we can revisit whether AVs should be allowed slightly different rules to

2nd:
“ Talon Metals plans to use technology it hopes will allow it to suck carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere and chemically bind it”

I think after this experience i’d be tempted to install headrests. It has already has seatbelts right?

I’d be curious to know what types of feedback mechanisms they use ,if any.
There’s a possibility of making false muscle memory so it could all get very complicated

I dont mean to be rude but Hulkenberg is being an idiot.
“ cornering speeds are extremely high, so the risk of ‘dirty air’ is still given”
No,it’s not dumb ass.
The tech has an effect only when behind another car

Now playing

Some say the rooftop tents are worth it purely for their critter proof-ness. Personally i think they’re being paranoid

This is great,i knew it wouldn’t be difficult.
I think the only improvement i can think of is to add counterweights. Some reinforcement of the beams might be needed though!

Great idea!
I’d especially like to hear trucker’s pet hates - the dumbest things car drivers do.
An overview of the trucking industry would be great too.

I’m curious how well the rear shock works/doesnt work

I hope they never have a battery fire down there. That would get really dangerous

It still amazes me how complex this is. I read it has more than 300 potential failure points or somesuch.Deeply impressive

Hmm,the difference in ability of the traditionally engineered system and the pedo man’s car seem to be quite large
