First Gear: This is great news.Well done Rivian!
Hopefully you can be profitable and eventually sell something normal people can afford

You even mentioned the australian name? Top marks for research good sir!

My parents and grandparents were banana farmers here in australia. In that era bananas were grown on steep hills so almost every farmer owned one of these trucks.I also saw many used for hauling logs from the forests. Those were likely the field

1st Gear- Are they really thinking they can continue selling at high prices once things get back to normal? That’s what it sounds like they’re saying.

I punned?

Ha, whatever. Not caring what types of TC they use is not the same as not knowing basic physics.
Go ahead and justify the freevalve crap.I’ll be waiting

Best comeback this year? Yes.Yes it is🤣

Wow,the comments here are all over the place! Most f1 fans dont have a clue what the rules are.No surprise there.f1 has been attracting morons for several decades.
But to be fair why should fans know what’s right or wrong? f1's rules on cornering are a totally unworkable pile of shit!
They expect drivers to read the

Cool.Thanks for the heads up

Ok ,i should rephrase “inability to rev”plus add some context:
Freevalve can allow high revs but at the cost of valve lift and (especially) opening/closing speed. This tech will work best at lower revs. The physics cant be beaten on this point! Only sidestepped a little by spending big somewhere else.

And that brings us

First thoughts:
So basically the lightspeed trans is an auto without the torque converter (except -plot twist- they may use their special torque converter with it anyway).
It sounds good in theory but how does it improve on the near instant shifts other supercars offer? Perhaps it gives smoother control of the

That’s a grammatical error? Or are you joking that they dont actually possess it? 😂

Personally i despise the ‘factual’ choices they’ve made in most of these movies and i refuse to see the last one.But FWIW i think they’re intending that the whole world is wasteland? That means no ability to grow food (in the traditional sense) or fuel.
As for diesel versus gas guzzlers?
If a stock of really old gas

“..have no obligation to cosplay being a Ford product planner”
Heh.This appeals to my stupid sense of humor

Yep.Ive seen this mentioned for other low bridges as well.

I wont be rude like the other guy but... this cant work.
Air jets will make clouds of dust!Street sweeping machines go to lots of effort to reduce dust.It can be a big issue.

I will laugh at the drone part of it though. Why use an expensive machine with very low energy storage capacity ,and which is dangerous to

Ok first i must admit to liking the theory of how it should work.Co-operation if done that well would actually be cool to see.
But who are we kidding?I’d probably jump to all bets are off forevermore mode the first time someone doesnt let me out

This

Awesome.Seeing him going at it with Hamilton will be a whole lot of fun.

This still one of my favorite lemans cars of all time. They looked so right!
No ginormous front fenders,no ugly darth vader roofline.
It’s such a shame bernie screwed things up.I can understand some of his thinking, and the recession had a big effect, but there were also some brain-dead choices made!
