I have a lot of sympathy for truck drivers but also some for the trucking companies.
These companies dont get to make the rules.They have to work trucks 14-ish hours a day to compete.

First up,having a main battery+add ons is great.Having the entire battery swap-able would be expensive so this gives the best compromise.

Ive been quite scathing of AV systems but to be fair they are better in some areas.The trouble is they’re making really dumb mistakes.Stuff so idiotic that it’s putting people off.
I’m sure if they could eliminate those fails then people would accept them

Im too am curious how this turns out.We know people have a tendency for running into stationary things on highways.We’re kind of dumb that way.
Now you’d think autonomous systems would do better but so far they’re doing worse! This continues to screw with my mind because i know radar/lidar systems can detect stationary…
