Almost no injuries these days REQUIRE bedrest particularly in the absence of head injuries. Back up and streaming is more impressive though I will admit.

Sadly, back pain doesn’t always look a certain way.  As someone who has had their share of back pain it’s not always the laying down or standing up that’s hard -- it’s the transition in between.  Even when the back is acting up, I can still be in pain and hold a conversation.  

I think thats what all that rehab right after the surgery is for.  Too much bed rest is bad for the back and also leaves you susceptible to clots and other cardiovascular issues.

She deserves every dollar she’s gonna get for this mishegas, but it’s probably going to take a while, unfortunately. Assuming that both Twitchcon and the promotional company have insurance, they’re going to be fighting to make the other side take full responsibilty, so it’s unlikely there’s going to be a settlement…

Personally blocking Trump does not prevent his Tweets from (1) reaching his followers, and (2) getting re-published and broadcast by every news media outlet. 

It isn’t because of Musk, it is what Musk is going to do with the platform; specifically, re-instate Donald Trump, a literal domestic terrorist mastermind.

Never understood this. You’d think you’d want people doing their job to not be physically and mentally worn out, because of the possibility of potentially fatal mistakes.

Did you work in one in a state where you don’t clock OT until after 40 hours? In pro-worker states it’s typically based on the work-day so harsh schedules for vulnerable groups are regulated. 

I work long hours in an office (10 - 12 hours a day, and paid OT), and that’s still tiring. And I’d take it any day over working a mere 4 hour shift at Starbucks like I did years ago.
