His massive success with “Gangsta’s Paradise,” I think, overshadowed the fact that “It Takes a Thief” was a top-notch debut album. Most of those dusty West-Coast-funk-influenced beats hold up just as well today. And every time I listen to “Ghetto Cartoon” I spend the next seven days repeating it to myself.

I’m I getting sick of some YouTuber stunts? You bet. But this one didn’t involve some shitty prank or non-willing participants. Just ignore and move on. I’m more sick of other people getting sick of something that impacts them so little.

I think the issue is that:

As a former graphic designer myself, the old Square Enix Montreal logo looks great and on brand. May not be a ‘fun’ logo but it communicates the message well. The new logo looks... okay, but if there wasn’t a Lara Croft image in the middle of the boards I wouldn’t even know what they’re all about.

There are some very messed up people out there. That they lept to those “jokes” is just disturbing.

I too, made the error of venturing into the greys...

Depends on the language of the waivers, and there are things that a waiver cannot actually waive.

This’ll really rely on the writing but Jack Black has the energy that I think would be required to bring in some of that Paper Mario Bowser feel, which is my ideal.

That’s such a weird expectation. If he was super good-looking the smart play (unless he had a serious and compelling reason to keep his identity secret, like a job-related issue or somesuch) would be to play that up. I’m no marketing expert, but it seems like that would get more engagement than the mask gimmick.

Must be so hard to be bullied for being way better looking than me.  Poor dude.

Shouldn’t we always have been suspicious of anyone commodifying their family life, wife guy or otherwise? Family life is difficult-enough as it is without the added pressure of making it conform to your brand.

I feel like this looks like a well-made show and so I will start to watch it and pass judgement later.

In all honesty, I used to hate donks. I’ve now come to respect them. While I don’t particularly like the look - I can’t help but be impressed at the typically meticulously excellent build quality of these cars.

Now playing

Naw, Donk culture is now legit American car culture. It’s the bullshit street racing and Golf R’s with Akropovic exhausts in neighborhoods we can do without.

Their money, their car.

Donk owners put in too much money and time in their builds to jeopardize them by doing dumb shit in the streets.

This.  They’re public enemy #1.  Fuck all coal rollers.

Rolling coal. Yes we get it, you hate the environment, Prius’, and bicyclists. There’s probably a bumper sticker for that.
