The question is: What are the names of the Democratic politicians who have a national profile and a pubic reputation that would have been decent-to-compelling candidates in the event the there was a Democratic primary?

Who were the Democratic candidates that sat down and shut up?

I figured the Dem plan in 2020 was thank their lucky stars that more people hated Trump than loved him, then spend the next four years finding and elevating solid but lesser-known Democratic politicians in order to build out their bench of presidential candidates. After all, Biden was unlikely to be strong enough to

Probably not something with a big budget, but I bet that she’d be the difference between red light and green light for something that can be made for 15 million.

Scarlett alleges that Gaiman assaulted her within hours of their meeting in his New Zealand residence in February 2022, when she was hired as a nanny for his child. The two apparently shared a bath where, according to Gaiman, they only “cuddled” and “made out” with consent.”

She was also in Under Siege 2 the next year, and got creeped on (crept on?) by Steven Seagal.

That does sound like it would be a pain in the ass, but at the same time if it results in a better product that’ll paper over a lot of ass-pain. The last-minute suggestions that improved the show end up making the writers and everyone else look better.

On the flip side, the people who would demand some sort of apology backed with action/donations (such people who write for and read the AV Club) aren’t likely to be fans of country music.  There’s very little for Wallen to gain by trying to appeal to them since they weren’t going to be buying his albums or tickets in

I just figured she wanted to do some action stuff while she was still physically able.

I just assumed it was because she’d mostly done dramatic and occasional comedic roles, and she thought doing action seemed fun so she’d better hop on board while she could still move well enough.

These actors have earned their MBA: Monkey Business Accreditation.

If you think that’s puzzling, you must be new here.

The show started off as a humorous-but-grounded examination of a guy on the wrong side of middle age who’d spent his whole life fucking up and fucking off, blaming it all on one turning point back in high school. He takes control of his life, finding that the best way to help himself was through acts that ended up

It makes sense. Everything I’ve heard about it so far makes it sound like the kind of story that’s better taken in across a couple of consecutive days (though maybe with a bit of work it would be structured in a way that would make for compelling weekly viewing, which is kind of how I prefer shows to be released).

Didn’t know that, thanks for the explanation.

Is jellybeans an actual thing with Nabin or is that a Harlan Ellison reference?

I just looked her up, and at least according to her Wikipedia article she might legitimately be a possibility for returning.

I’m not going claim to know Biden’s thoughts, but I wouldn’t be so quick to put his decision to run again entirely on his shoulders.

Sounds like an Onion headline: “I’m Actually a Great Guy” Claims Angry Jerk

I think it’s a decent idea for a short film, but I don’t think it’s going to be sustainable over a couple hours.
