Tim should be a fairly important character, and to send a message Tim gets hacked apart into Tim Bits.

The actor and costume look bang-on from the graphic novels, which is certainly positive.  ‘Not ready for how good this is’ sounds rather optimistic, though.

I’ve not read the novellas, but I read the graphic novels. While I liked them, and I think that starting from completed stories is generally a positive thing for a show (particularly a Game of Thrones spinoff), I’m not sure how much meat there is on that bone. The graphic novels are right-sized for sequential art

When the long-written prophecy is made manifest and the hordes from the North break down the Wall.

The soundtrack really is fantastic. One of my favorites from any movie.  Think I’ll give it a listen again, it’s been a while.

Jon Stewart is a better Daily Show host, Trevor Noah is a better standup comedian.

Well, not bonerland, at least.  Through his declaration of ‘Men.  We all suck.’ he has invoked the magic phrase that categorizes him as an official One of the Good Ones.

The days when the favorite AV Club movies were the Lou Gosset Jr airplane movie IRON EAGLE, as well as the underappreciated cult film OF COCK.

As is, I agree.  But he could put on 20+ pounds of muscle and get there.

1. There’s an outside chance it wouldn’t have sucked. But it probably would have.

There have been a couple of pieces like that, but I think its safe to say that we’re going to keep getting articles like this as well. Clickbait works, even though everyone hates it. And having some idiot bash out some crowd-riling idiocy like this, or lukewarm condemnation of a celebrity who said something uncouth

Baby, it’s cold outside...in space

And one of the most commented on, as well.

This is like Ross’ music from Friends.

For all the hue and cry over gay stuff these days, the majority of Americans are broadly supportive of LGBT rights. There’s a greater percentage of right-leaning people support gay marriage now, than there was of left-leaning people supporting gay marriage twenty years ago. (Only by a couple of percentage points, but

Video games haven’t replaced movies and television shows, and they’re not going to do so in the future.

If you have any interest at all in the history of technology, you’ll probably come away with a couple of conclusions, and among them are:

Meet the new AV Club, same as the old AV Club. (But not the same as Classic AV Club.  That’s gone and will likely never come back.)

I wouldn’t go so far as to call it ‘mediocre meh’, and while I’m curious about what a Star Wars movie would have looked like if had been made with Lego Movie sensibilities I’m not sure it would have really worked. At least not at the time - today Star Wars has enough entries that diversification of filmmaking

They haven’t done smugglers to death, however. I think that ‘Firefly Star Wars’ would be a perfectly good formula for a show. Then again, Solo was my second favorite of the Disney Star Wars movies.
