I think Disney+ has produced enough seasons of Star Wars TV to show that Andor and the first season or so of The Mandalorian are exceptions, not the norm. The success of The Mandalorian and Andor would be arguments against the thesis of this article. It isn’t about the franchise belonging in one story format or the other, it’s about that story itself. 

I think if you polled actors who are trying to make it, 99% of them would say they believe they’re going to make it, with s small subset saying they are doing it just for love of acting.

True Lies is a movie that I’ve always loved, despite the various questionable aspects. The dialogue is great, the performances are top notch and it doesn’t take itself too seriously which is nice.
